Dwight McNeil completes Everton transfer

Everton have confirmed the signing of Dwight McNeil, who has signed a five-year contract at Goodison Park.

A £20million deal together with add-ons was agreed with Burnley and the younger winger quickly underwent a medical on the Toffees’ Finch Farm coaching floor.

He is the membership’s third signing of the summer time following the arrivals of James Tarkowski and Ruben Vinagre.

– It’s a unbelievable feeling to signal. When I heard about Everton’s curiosity, I needed to get it finished straight away as a result of of the membership and the way good the staff is, McNeil informed evertontv.

“Talking to the manager about what they want going forward, that really excited me and appealed to me. I wanted to be a part of it. He knows me as a player, as well [Director of Football] Kevin Thelwell. I want to work hard and do well for the team and for the fans.
