Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi will not leave the club this summer, ending speculation that the Blues could replace the child with Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman.
The Bundesliga champions have made no secret of their admiration for Hudson-Odoi in recent years, with their original pursuit leading to the England international signing a new £ 120,000-a-week contract at Stamford Bridge.

Bayern have resumed their interest in the 20-year-old this summer, which has led to rumors that the Blues could look to replace a swap deal that would see Coman go to west London.
But The Sun now reports that Hudson-Odoi does not intend to leave Chelsea, which means that their interest in Coman has since ceased.
Although Hudson-Odoi apparently hoped to work his way into Thomas Tuchel’s thinking, rumors of his eventual departure did not come as a surprise given the young man’s inability to cement his place in start XI.
After Tuchel’s arrival at Stamford Bridge in January, the winger appeared to be at the forefront of the German tactician’s plans – he made 13 appearances in the club’s first two months – although he would continue to play just 172 minutes in Chelsea’s final 13 season games.
Given his lack of first-class action towards the end of the 2020/21 campaign, his challenge was perfectly meaningful, but The Athletic reports that Tuchel is desperate to give Hudson-Odoi another chance to prove his worth.
In films obtained from Chelsea’s internal cameras from the beginning of the pre – season, Tuchel suggested that the absence of players representing his country at Euro 2020 would benefit the winger as he could have more one-on-one time with the coaches. claims: “This is very good for Callum Hudson-Odoi. Despite clearly acknowledging the clear potential of Hudson-Odoi, Tuchel’s wealth of options in the wider areas means that the England international will have his work cut out if he is to impress the first team.
Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz, Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic all spent time on the wing for Chelsea last season, but Tuchel is clearly keen to give Hudson-Odoi one last chance to make his mark on Stamford Bridge.
