Ethiopian Airlines lands in Kaduna, Nigeria

The new Ethiopian Airlines aircraft, the Dreamliner Boeing 787, landed successfully at Kaduna International Airport on March 8, 2017.

The operation was honored by the effective presence of the Nigerian Minister of State for Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika, made Ethiopian the only foreign company to have landed at Kaduna airport.

Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines said: “Our daily services at Kaduna Airport, with the Dreamliner B-787, allowing passengers to experience exceptional comfort on board, are the only transport service International air link between the capital Abuja and the rest of the world, “he said.

“We are pleased to join our Nigerian brothers and sisters once again in the good and difficult times,” he added.

“Ethiopian Airlines is a pan-African pioneer company that serves as a catalyst for African integration for the African Union. After seventy years of service to the African continent, our motto remains the same: connecting Africa to itself and the world, “he concluded.

Now we are happy to serve four cities of Nigeria: Kaduna and Lagos – daily, Kano twice a week and Enugu three times a week. As a result, we are pleased to see the Nigerians enjoying fluid connections with the rest of the world via Ethiopian for their business trips among others.

Ethiopian also provides Nigerians with services in the field of vocational training for aeronautics in its training center, the largest and most modern, in addition to deploying the fleet A350, Dreamliner B787 and B777 wide-body fuselage.
