Somali parliament provides prime minister ten extra days to type authorities

Mogadishu – Somalia’s decrease home lawmakers have given Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre one other ten days to finish consultations on the formation of the Cabinet of Ministers on Monday.

The Prime Minister submitted a request to Parliament for a ten-day extension after the one-month interval to type the federal government had expired.

First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Saadiya Yasin Samatar, who chaired the assembly, mentioned 144 MPs authorized the Prime Minister’s request, whereas just one MP rejected it.
