Somali military says it kills 14 al-Shabab terrorists in central area

MOGADISHU – A Somali National Army (SNA) official confirmed on Monday that SNA forces killed 14 al-Shabab terrorists in operations close to Mahas, a district in central Somalia, on Sunday.

Mohamed Tahlil Bihi, SNA head of floor forces who led the operations, instructed the Somali News Agency that Mohamed Wehliye Wasuge, the extremist group’s chief within the Mahas area, was amongst these killed.

Bihi stated SNA troops additionally recovered arms and ammunition throughout the operations in 4 villages of Mahas.
