Security forces detonated rickshaw with explosives in Mogadishu

Mogadishu – A rickshaw filled with improvised explosive gadgets (IEDs) was detonated by safety forces in Mogadishu’s Hodan district on Friday afternoon.

Eyewitnesses say the rickshaw exploded close to the well-liked Fatxi restaurant on Teleh highway.

However, the safety officers informed state-owned Radio Mogadishu that the safety forces intercepted and exploded the rickshaw, including that the operator of the rickshaw, who suffered minor accidents, was additionally arrested. No one else was injured or killed within the explosion.

No group has but claimed duty for the assault.

On Thursday, Somali Police Chief Major General Abdi Hassan Mohamed Hijaar chaired a safety assembly on the Somali Police Force headquarters in Mogadishu, attended by the complete senior management.
