Finance Minister warns of Somalia’s funds

Mogadishu – Somali Finance Minister Abdirahman Ducale Beyle has rejected stories that the federal authorities’s financial institution is filled with massive sums of cash left behind by Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo’s earlier authorities.

He added that his earlier assertion on the earlier authorities’s reimbursement of financial institution salaries for the following six months had been misinterpreted.

“I did not tell you that the treasury is full, it is not full, and whoever says that is irresponsible,” he stated.

Minister Bayle warned in opposition to politicizing the nation’s funds, claiming that the ministry labored month-to-month to make sure that state wages have been not disturbed.

He promised that the Ministry of Finance would pay wages this month, however that in the approaching months the employees would need to work in entrance of the federal government to keep away from wage cuts.
