At least 27 people were killed overnight from Saturday to Sunday, in the Toumour area, in the Diffa region, in south-eastern Niger. According to an official from the Bosso department to which this municipality belongs, this attack was carried out by the Boko Haram group.

But there were also people who were killed. In the area, it was one of the few places where the population had decided to stay. And there were several attacks on that site. Unfortunately with this event, it is not known if this resistance will continue or if it will fade. It also shows a little that the head of state has difficulty ensuring security in the area. ”
