as reported from Kinshasa, Commander Commander
Close deputies by Moïse Katumbi and Jean-Pierre Bemba has in a joint statement stigmatized the words of Jean-Marc Kabund. According to the press release, the interim president of the UDPS confirmed that the two leaders of the Ensemble pour la République and the MLC would have demanded to get: for one the presidency of the National Assembly and for the other the prime minister. According to Jean-Marc Kabund, the request was made during a meeting with the President of the Republic on 15 January.
To him, these demands give the impression that the two leaders are entering the Holy Union to kill it. The video of the meeting between Kabund and several deputies of the Holy Union is circulating on social networks. For the supporters of Katumbi and Bemba, these words were not uttered during the meeting with the head of state.
The discussions only focused on the break with the change in the country’s governance, the statement concludes. These National Deputies are preparing to harmonize their views on the interpellation petition against Prime Minister Sylvestre Ilunga Ilunkamba.
