Cameroon international Ajara Nchout Njoya joined Spanish club Atlético de Madrid on Sunday 3 January, less than a month after being crowned Norwegian champion with Vålerenga Women’s Football.
It’s a big leap forward for the “Indomitable Lioness.” Soon to turn 28, Ajara Nchout Njoya joins Atlético de Madrid, one of the three biggest clubs in Spain, champions three times in a row between 2017 and 2019 and the second final season.
The Cameroonian striker signed with Rojiblancas until June 2022 after two years in Norway, marked by a national championship title in early December with Vålerenga Football Women. Top scorer in the championship with ten goals, Ajara Nchout Njoya arrives in Spain with full confidence.
