Cameroon: a publisher rises from the ashes

It is the publisher who published the first writings of Djaïli Amadou Amal, the author of the successful novel Les impatientes. Ifrikiya experienced a devastating fire in its premises in Yaoundé. Nearly 15,000 books went up in smoke. But thanks to a wave of solidarity, its creators hope not to put the key under the door, says Ulrich Talla Wamba, from the African Observatory of Publishing Professionals (OAPE).
