Arsenal seemingly set to snatch Havertz from under Madrid’s nose with a sudden burst of ambition.
The Chelsea footballer, Kai Havertz, who is currently donning their jersey, may very well be departing from his London club this summer. It was initially believed that Havertz was on Real Madrid’s radar, but the deal seems to have come to a halt. According to reports from British media, Arsenal could be making a bid for him instead.
It appeared as though Real Madrid had secured the signing of Chelsea’s Havertz a few days ago, but now it seems like the deal is at an impasse. Madrid had offered €60 million, while the Londoners were holding out for €85 million.

In light of Madrid’s hesitance, Arsenal have swooped in and are supposedly interested in the German international, according to The Sun. It has been reported that the management at Arsenal are currently reviewing the addition of the attacker to their ranks.
Havertz has been playing for Chelsea for three years since moving from Bayer Leverkusen. However, it hasn’t been a great season for the German footballer, and the fact that Chelsea will not be playing in any European competitions next season has led him to consider leaving the club.
It would be mutually beneficial for both parties if Havertz were to leave Chelsea, as their new manager, Mauricio Pochettino, is keen on offloading several of the team’s costly players.
No other clubs have emerged as potential suitors for Havertz so far. It is important to remember that even Bayern announced a few months ago that they are not watching the Chelsea forward.
