The presentation requires that England vs Denmark be replayed

More than 25,000 and counting desperate football fans have signed an online petition on Change.org calling on UEFA to play the European Championship 2020 semi-final between England and Denmark and claiming that the decisive penalty in the Three Lions victory should not have been awarded.

Harry Kane scored the winning goal in extra time and netted the return after the penalty in question was originally saved by the Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

But the creator of the petitioner, who is clearly not a fan of England reaching the final, insists that the existing result should be annulled due to several incidents at the important moment.

“We want to surpass [sic] the criminal decision against Denmark ”, appears from the petition.

“It was a wrong conversation, there must be contact for a punishment and there was absolutely no contact. There were also two balls on the field, just before the penalty and a laser pen aimed at Schmeichel, during the penalty.

“If this is not overridden [sic], it would show a failure from UEFA and the beautiful football game. ”

Critics have claimed that Raheem Sterling appeared to win the penalty, although video footage showed contact between his legs and the Danish defender Joakim Maehle, albeit minimal. A VAR check did not override the call in the field because there was no “clear and obvious” error.

In fact, UEFA has already started disciplinary proceedings against England due to the laser incident. There were three incidents for which England have been accused of “fan riots”, where the governing body also took a weak view of “disturbances” while the national anthems were played and fireworks were set off during the match.

UEFA will not play the game again, but some England fans have taken a “bring it on” attitude and have still added their signature to the presentation. One comment read, “I’m ready for a rematch! We surpassed Denmark and will do so again! Waaah waaah waah, yes gang [of] children. ”
