Toffees launches new 2021/22 home jersey

Everton have launched their new home jersey 2021/22 by Hummel, which is a lively design inspired by the “dazzling camouflage” patterns painted on naval ships in Liverpool’s jetties during the First World War. Everton will also move to a new Port Stadium in 2024.

Dazzle camouflage has contrasting shapes, tones and colors, with such patterns applied to ships to hide their size, speed, distance and direction from enemies, making them more difficult to accurately shoot at.

Everton have chosen a two-tone dazzling camouflage, which is complemented by white and yellow trim. The shirt also has the immediately recognizable Hummel chevrons on the sleeves.

On sale from July 15 but already available for pre-order from the club’s official online store, it will be the first time Everton fans can choose to buy either the men’s or women’s replica jersey.

The men’s jersey is sponsored by the car sales brand Cazoo, but the women’s team has its own shirt sponsorship agreement with the Russian telecom company MegaFon. Each version is available in both men’s and women’s sizes, which gives fans a large selection.

Seamus Coleman, James Rodriguez, Allan, Richarlison, Izzy Christiansen and Danielle Turner have all been involved in the launch material for the new shirt.

The Toffees have also released a new home goalkeeper kit that may well share the view. To be worn by Jordan Pickford and Sandy MacIver, the black shirt has abstract yellow stripes on the front, as well as a blue stripe, which gives it a very vibrant look.

Everton finished tenth in the Premier League and fifth in the WSL last season, with the ambitious club hoping to see improvements for both their teams in this new campaign starting soon.
